Covid 19
In order to minimise the risk of Coronavirus transmission we will:
• Adhere to the organisation’s policies and procedures
• Limit the number of trainees to between 2 and 4 per course, taking into consideration the size of the venue
• Ask the client to evaluate the most suitable venue for training, this also includes the location of venue i.e. away from care homes and schools for instance
• Hand sanitizer should be available for use throughout the course
• Hand sanitizer and wipes should be in the vehicle and wipes should be used to clean the
minibus controls before and after each assessment
• When necessary trainers and trainees must be prepared to wear face masks and disposable gloves
• We will do our best to stay 2 meters apart and make sure we have mitigating measures
(PPE) if we’re ever any closer than that
• Try and minimise the amount of paperwork changing hands by having digital or online
registration forms and theory assessments
• When carrying out minibus driving assessments this should be done on a 1 to 1 basis. The assessor should be seated at least 2 metres from the driver (rows diagonally behind). From 4th July, because of the 1m plus mitigation rule, an assessor may be able to sit in the seat next to the driver. Windows should be open, including roof vents.
